Q This is my first visit to the Agora Spa. What can I expect?

A Whether you are a first timer or a seasoned spa devotee, each visit to the Agora Spa will be a memorable one. Our friendly staff and warm, welcoming atmosphere will immediately put you at ease, the first step on your journey to blissful relaxation. We offer a comprehensive menu of results-oriented spa services, from signature skin care treatments to relaxing massage therapies, all virtually guaranteed to melt away stress and promote well-being. Services are performed in our six private treatment rooms, including a couples' room and a specially designed wet room for refreshing body care treatments. Relax before, after and in-between your treatments in our separate men's and women's lounges, sumptuously furnished to ensure your comfort. Our fully-equipped locker rooms feature luxurious 13-head Swiss showers and a steam room to further enhance your spa experience.

Q How do I schedule my treatments?

A Call 203-977-1234 and an Agora Spa specialist will guide you through the appointment process, detailing each treatment and helping you make your treatment choice. Your specialist will consider your preferences and needs to create the perfect, individualized experience for you.

Q What should I wear for my appointment?

A Most body treatments are best enjoyed without clothing, but you are free to wear whatever makes you most comfortable. We will supply you with a spa robe, slippers and a locker, or, if you prefer, you are welcome to bring your own robe and slippers. You may want to bring a bathing suit for your comfort in our Swiss showers and steam room. For your convenience, we’ve equipped our men's and women's locker rooms with shampoo, conditioner, razors, deodorant, hairspray, mouthwash and hairdryers.

Q Do I need to disrobe during treatments?

A Ask your spa specialist which treatments require you to disrobe, as not all treatments do. Your comfort and complete relaxation is our goal so that you feel at ease at all times.

Q Is it possible to request a particular therapist, or request a male or female therapist?

A While we will make every effort to honor your requests for a particular therapist, due to scheduling demands, we cannot guarantee any specific therapist requests. Our staff is thoroughly educated in all treatments to ensure your comfort and relaxation.

Q When should I arrive for my treatment?

A We ask that you arrive at least 20 minutes prior to your appointment, so that you may change and enjoy some relaxation time before your appointment. If you prefer to shower or steam before your treatment, please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes early.

Q What if I am pregnant, have allergies or other health issues?

A When booking your treatments, please let your spa specialist know if you have any special health considerations or concerns. We will make a note in your reservation, or inform you of any contraindications. When you check in for your appointment, we will provide you with a consultation form where you can describe any health related issues to us. All information will be kept in the strictest confidence.

Q What can I do between treatments or if I arrive early?

A You are welcome to use any of our locker room and lounge facilities, including steam and Swiss showers. If you prefer, you may enjoy a selection from our Agora Spa Menu and relax in our beautiful relaxation lounges.
 
Q Can I use the spa without booking an appointment?

A Unless you are here for a booked service, our spa facilities, including relaxation lounges and locker rooms, are only available to spa club members and their guests. Ask us about available spa club memberships.

Q Is parking available?

A Complimentary parking is available in our parking garage, attached to the hotel for your convenience. Our Spa Concierge will validate your parking ticket.

Q How can I become an Agora Spa Member?

A Agora Spa memberships are a great way to enjoy full access to our facilities, VIP scheduling, discounted services and products, and invitations to special members-only events. To ensure our members' utmost pleasure, memberships are limited. Please call for details.

Q Are gift certificates available for your services or memberships?

A Agora Spa Gift certificates are the perfect fit for any recipient, from business associates and employees to your family members and friends. Our gift certificates are available for all services and treatments, as well as for a specific dollar amount. Just tell us what you are interested and we'll fill it out accordingly! Gift certificates for memberships are limited; call for details.

RESERVATIONS
We highly recommend that you schedule your appointments ahead of time. Please be advised that weekend appointments book more quickly, so a two-week advanced booking is suggested. All spa services are subject to availability. A credit card number is required for all reservations.

CANCELLATION POLICY
A 24 hour cancellation notice is required. A 100% cancellation fee will apply to any reservation cancelled without proper notice.

GRATUITY
Gratuities are not included in the spa service price. Suggested gratuity is 20% of total treatment cost.

CELL PHONES
We request that all cell phones are turned off during your stay at the spa to maintain a relaxing and calming environment.

SALES TAX
Sales Tax on All retail products and some services. Please inquire with Spa Concierge.
